It was imported from Europe only a few years ago by MMBI from Myersville, MD (note barrel imprint). Per the IB code, this model was produced in 1981. I intended to mount glass, but lost interest in spending yet MORE money.
As the 1813 has a cheek riser, I was able to get comfortable with the addition of risers. Also note the bubble level on the front sight.
The stock is in exceptional condition (can't be original wood finish, but an excellent restoration)and the bluing retains a high percentage of original finish.
The rifling, lands and chamber are in excellent condition. The rifle is in truly remarkable shape considering it is over 40 years old. This would be ideal for vintage competition. Although originally configured for 3p Olympic competition, it will do fine on the bench.
I have been shooting SK rifle match, until a buddy gave me some CenterX, wow. My first 3 of 5 shots were on the "X" at 50 yards on the NRA 50 yard target (the X circle is 3/8"), though peeps, using 75 year old eyes.
The only noticable imperfection is the witness marks from a screws on the bottom rail (see pic)
If I were a collector, I would hang on to the Annie, but the lure of another centerfire requires funding, so this has to go.
I figure to sell the Rest separately once the rifle is sold .
Thanks for looking and if you have questions or want more pics, let me know and I'll do my best to answer. Asking $1950
