As a quick guess, you are losing focus on your front sight. There is a natural tendency for the front of the pistol to drift up when you do that. That would explain all the high shots.

You may want to investigate shooting glasses. They don't have to be fancy. There are tons of postings on the subject.

Let's make sure you have a good zero.

Put up two targets, one on top of the other.

Fire 30 shots, only changing the top target every 5.

Change your zero based on the 30 shot hole, ignoring the flyers.

Do it again and again and again.

Don't forget the vinho tinto.

It was on the club and i had never tried the sigths like this on the club. I just make a test target then in 30 minutos shot 60 shots 5 per target 12 targets and i still was lookikg for the rigth position os the sigth on the target !
But thank you

I think what rover is saying is adjust to the center of your group, not to a few shots.
That will get you the most points and give you a truer zero. Remember if you throw a bad shot and you know why, don’t count it, but try to correct the cause. Good shooter learn to analyze the shoots.
This is a tough crowd.

Keep doing the two target trick your whole shooting career.

Things change as you mature.

All those shots to the right are YOU jerking the trigger.

Bailiff, whack his peepee!

Actually, if he's right handed, he's probably applying pressure with his thumb. All your life, you've practiced squeezing things between your thumb & forefinger. If you let your thumb get in the act when you squeeze the trigger, your targets will look just like that.

You do NOT need thumb pressure on the side of the grip to hold the pistol. Shooting a good group is all about consistency. The most consistent pressure you can apply with your thumb is ZERO. Get it off the grip, and those shots should evaporate.

If he's a lefty, it would be finger tip pressure.

You are still obsessed with scores. Unless you spend more time working on improving your shot process and less time adding up meaningless numbers, your progress will be slow & painful.

I can shoot a 540 by firing nothing but sixty nines. I can also do it by shooting 54 tens and 6 complete misses. I can do it by shooting 30 eights and 30 tens. None of which is important. What IS important is why each shot arrived where it did. You need to work on eliminating the poor shots and increasing the number of good ones. You should be concentrating on improving your technique & consistency, NOT your scores. Good scores will be easy IF you fix your technique.
