Post by Fholtzhauer »

I am looking for recommendations for a low cost air compressor to fill my FWB every few weeks. Thanks

Most of the low cost compressors are unreliable. The ones that are reliable involve a great deal of additional work by the user (water cooling, fans, etc). The best (least expensive) option is to go to a dive shop and buy a used tank from them.

Here in Prescott, AZ, I get my 80 cu ft tank filled at a place that specializes in paint ball gear at a cost of about $10.

Craigslist usually has a few tanks cheap.

I've had an Umarex Ready Air for a few weeks now and it seems well built and reliable. Spares are included for a rebuild after 20 hours use
