Reduced Rapidfire targets

Post by porkchop »

Does anyone know if they make them or where to buy reduced size targets for a shorter range like 50 ft or less. I want to practice Olympic Rapid fire and would like to find some that could have all 5 bulls on it.

Given:
The "Hit ring" in rapid fire = 129.6mm (source: LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k9oedJeNac )
A standard AP target black = 59.5mm

Thus, to replicate the 1-point "hit ring" on a reduced range, you could place std. AP targets at 11.47 meters & they'd essentially appear visually the same as the 1-point hit ring for RF at 25 meters.

Or, you could experiment with this device: "Air Venturi Biathon Target"
Hit ring on this is 28mm, hence a reduced range distance of 5.4 meters.

Hope this helps.

You can calculate the size of targets for printing and at what height to place them using my calculator: https://www.olympicpistol.com/target-calculator/

Download targets from: https://svgtargets.com/
