as for lenses and or shooting glasses... I think I should get more practice time before making a decision. A set of dedicated shooting glasses is going to run around $400+.

I do like the idea of the monoframe lens since it is cheaper and pretty much ensures proper alignment. When I go to the eye dr in a few months I'll bring up the subject.

In the meantime I think I am just going to use some tape to mask out all but a ~0.5 cm window for my dominant eye lens when I shoot. (So not really a diopter, but an alignment aid.) That should force me to look through approximately the same part of my lens. It will be interesting to see if that helps. If it does, then it would seem a monolens would be useful. If it doesn't help, than it would seem more practice is needed!
