Boot Recommendations?

Post by kbean »

I'm looking for a new pair of boots for my daughter. She is currently shooting in Creedmoor brand boots, and they have started to lose stiffness.
I see several Anschutz models and others, but I don't have a feel for what might work better for her. Any suggestions on where to start or what to consider? Any personal recommendations or preferences?
Thanks!

My top choices would be either a pair of Sauer boots or the Kurt Thune boots. I recently saw a pair of the Kustermann boots; I am sure they will be good as well. The sauer boots are extremely popular; most of the kids on my team use them. I would give Robert Oberlie a call if you are not sure; he will know far more then me about the different models. It would be a good place to start.

Sport Shooting Depot has few more choices in addition to Sauer "Perfect Top" which are well known in US but not the only game in town. Make sure to check out the original CORAMI bots that basically started shooting boots as a category.
