Hammerli AR20 issues

We recently had two Hammerli Air rifles. Break in the same location on the stock right behind the action. One came shipped broken from the dealer. That was replaced. The second was received the same day ( as the other broken one) but broke in the exact spot as the first rifle. Just two weeks after. Rifle was not miss used or dropped. Broke while one of my students was shooting prone. My AD is contacting the dealer today. Hopefully it’s under warranty. I’ve owned two of these for several years. My club owns four. Plus another HS team I helped start owns 12 for two seasons with no issues.

I just hope the quality has not gone down. If it wasn’t for the fact that my team qualified for states. Our season would be over and this rifle would have broken next winter. Out of any warranty.

Anyone else heard of any issues?
