AirForce Edge back?

Post by GaryN »

I just noticed today that the AirForce Edge is in stock again.
Did AirForce upgrade the rifle to fix it's early accuracy problems?

It seems to me that this is a bit late, now that Crosman has released the 3rd version of the Challenger, v2021. And Daisy has the 599.

One of my younger shooters just got one of these. Seems to shoot good, but we haven't benched it. It is a full pound lighter so easy for younger shooters. The but-stock/air tank is very annoying as it has not bee staked or locked in any way. Rotates and becomes a rule violation very easily. They should have come up with a simple fix for this. I mean, we will never have a need for removing the tank, so why not lock it in place. We will probably just stake in place with 2216 epoxy.
