Unique DES-69 Dot Mount

Post by Clintw »

What are the recommendations for a dot mount on a Unique DES-69? BME doesn't anticipate making them anytime soon.
Thanks,
Clint

A gunsmith friend and I made one from a 1911 frame mount and a piece of aluminum machined to fit the barrel weight dovetail.

I tried, but cannot get the photo to load on here..........

Thanks Rick and EDC for the reply and pictures. I'll probably use a universal barrel clamp contraption too. It shoots nicely with the iron sights for now but I want the ability to use a red dot in the future.
