Hi all! I'm currently on vacation and saw a nice rifle case that would be perfect for transporting my KK500. Without access to my rifle, what is the length of a KK500 from end of the attached barrel extension to the end of the aluminum chassis where the buttplate carrier would be inserted? (I travel with the buttplate and carrier detached)

Without the buttplate and carrier, the length of the rifle with the barrel extension is 42 inches. This is for the longer barrel rifle. Convert to metric as needed.

PERFECT!!! Thank you so much! The rifle case in question has an interior dimension of 44" wide (not quite wide enough for my pride and joy). However the Cabela's hard rifle cases with yellow buckles are as sturdy and robust as competitive models. I would highly recommend if it fits.

+1 on the big Cabela’s case! With yellow trim/handles. It’s great.
