Someone is offering me a air rifle. But he is from Germany. Is there any special rule concerning importing for personal rule? ie,go straight to my address assuming it will pass custom. I used to get antique and the replicas, from Spain, no problem at all.

Its a non issue, once you figure out if you live in a prohibited zip code. Check the Pyramid Air website to look them up

By Federal law, it's not considered a firearm, so no problems having it shipped right to your house vs having to import via a Federal Firearms License holder and dealing with firearms importing rules.
The only snag you might run into is whether you'll have to pay an import tax on it. You can look it up in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). From Germany, it might be duty-free (no tax); worst case scenario, you might have to pay 3.9%. If so, you might get a call from the shipper when it arrives in the US and be asked to provide a credit card number to pay the tax (happened to me when I imported a shotgun stock from Portugal).

My understanding from a few folks in different European countries is that the shipping company rules vary.
In Germany, I have been led to believe, shipping companies supposedly won't ship airguns out of the EU.
I hope that I have been misinformed.
