Domino FAS602/Chappia 6007

Post by Xman »

Can anyone here school me on the plus and minuses of the Domino and the Chappia for bull’s-eye? I would be using a dot sight.

I have a FAS 6007 that I use with iron sights. To mount a red dot, you'd have to remove the rear sight and replace it with a short rail, so you'd be limited to compact red dots, that type with one "foot". Since I haven't made this conversion, I don't know how hard it would be. Might have to contract with a gunsmith.

I have seen some photographs of the 602 with a red dot and it is mounted in front of the breach/ejection port so the Iron sights is not removed when that is done. And yes perhaps a gunsmith would be needed to tap the top and cobble together a short mount for a single foot red dot like the Vortex minis.

Did this decades ago. scope base mounted so as not to interfere with magazine loading. Single mounting ring. 2 screws. Can remove scope and use iron sights.
Gunsmith required.
