FWB 300 R/T needs butt plate

I have a FWB 300 R/T with thumbhole stock. Someone replaced the wood butt plate with an adjustable one. I would love to find a correct butt plate.

You might try placing a want-to-buy ad in the Buy, Sell, Trade section. And I'd suggest putting a WTB ad on eGun. Restrictions make it cost prohibitive to get a gun out of Germany, but a buttplate shouldn't be a problem. I think the wooden butt plate would be fairly easy to duplicate, too. Take some photos of your gun and some that show the wooden butt plate from the Vintage airgun gallery; then shop around for a stock maker that's willing to do it and has some walnut that's a reasonable match for your stock. Or just sell your R/T to me.

I have family in Germany, but no luck in finding a correct wooden butt plate! I have given thought to selling the rifle, but have no clear idea of value or how to go about it.
