Diana 75 Sight Inserts

Post by Steve L »

I have an oler model Diana 75 and would like to find front sight inserts to fit this model. Are front sight inserts brand specific or are they interchangeable between makers? Mine came with a circle sight which is in clear plastic which is hexagonal on the outside. It appears that there is a space in front of it which will hold the ears of post sights or others with ears. I am unfamiliar with 10 meter match sight requirements so any help is appreciated. I'd like to replace the front sight insert with a post sight.

Both my Diana 60 and 75 take 15.9mm insets, usually called Walther size.
Inserts of the correct size will usually fit most sights. The Walther ones fit most of my old 10 metre guns. Another popular one is the 17 mm ones, usually described as Anschutz size.
I'm sure Pilkington's can get you what you need.
