RINK grip vs. Morini vs. Steyr grips; THICK vs. Normal Volum

INPUT NEEDED! Considering ordering a RINK grip from Germany. Size I'm considering is "Size: Medium, Form: Convex, Angle: Zero, VOLUME: THICK!" for my 162EI.

I'm currently in a Morini Medium-grip on a 162EI, and a Steyr Large/Long on a LP50.

The Morini actually feels loose/small in my hand. The Steyr feels tight. BOTH have the palm-rest adjusted all the way up. (Steyr doesn't made a Medium/Long). My measured hand width is 89mm.

Has anyone used the RINK-THICK VOLUME grip? How has that compared to the Morini and/or Steyr grips. (I'd considered ordering a Rink SMALL/THICK, but don't want it to arrive 4 weeks from Germany, and have the Grip TOO small to fit my hand. I tried a Steyr Small/Long with Buck at Pilk, too small for my hand, even with the palm rest ALL the way down. No Med/Long, so got the LG/Long.) Asking for input before I change grips on the Morini.

Additional Commentary, observations on grip, hand position, et cetera welcome!

Everyone KEEP SHOOTING! Thanks!!!

@Coolmeester. Ordered RINK grips Med./THICK today! Question on Med. Rink w/84mm hand: What height is your adjustable palm shelf set to?

Have learned:
1. RINK does NOT charge Value-Added-Tax for shipments to USA. AP Grip cost 185 Euros, w/DHL shipping 37 Euros. 1 Euro=.85 dollars for conversion ($226 all-in!).
2. LARRY's GUNs is placing a large order to RINK on Friday 25Aug2017.
3. RINK promises direct delivery time of "3 weeks"

Hello.

I have a Rink grip on my Walther SSP. My hand is about 90 mm and I have long fingers.
The model is Medium - Right - Convex - 0 degree - Thick.
The palmrest is positioned aprox. 5 mm from the uppermost position (in the middle of the adjusting range)
The volume of the grip fits me very well.

Peter

Thank you Coolmeester and Peter! Peter's data on 90mm-hand and "long fingers" with THICK volume grip is pretty much the data I needed. Also, thanks Peter for position of Palm-rest at mid-point for Med. grip being good size. Appreciate the time!

FYI, Larry's Guns has in In-Stock: RINK 1911, Med/Convex/THICK w/upturned palm-shelf for NRA comp. pistol grip In-Stock. Deeanna at Larry's quoted price as "$272," but I'll bet they'd take lower. (Said, they had hard time placing the THICK volume). Oh, it's Laminated with Rink's ugly-a$$ Blue/Orange/Brown color-combo, else I'd have parted with the money.

Maybe the European's are color-blind . . . .

Some times it feels right to just buy the damn silk purse instead of putting a lot of work into the sow's ear.

Hope that the grip is good for you! I'd be careful to buy thick version, it's always easier to add stuff to the grip than take it off. And most of too big grips that i have sanded the anatomy went completely wrong. For me thick grips doesn't work at all.
