FWB 800X help

Have shot several thousand pellets through new FWB 800x...went to shoot this afternoon and everything was high, high high....really puzzled...shot some more...then removed air cylinder to fill up as it was approaching 100...after filling could NOT get it to re-seat back into rifle - its off center...and even with some minor maneuvering will not screw back in....any ideas? It appears that the compressed air receiver on the rifle has moved...thanks.
