I think Anschutz recommend different torque levels for the bolts that clamp the barrel into the receiver, which may be causing confusion. Whenever anyone reports bedding bolt torques, it has always been the same value front and back; differing figures would suggest, to me at least, that the bedding isn't right and the action is stressed.

Maybe the page from the user manual I posted was not clear.
Wood stock - all four at 5Nm
Metal stock - all four at 6Nm
Gir1 do you have the manual?

Peter,

no, your post was perfectly clear, but I was referring to the OP's original question, not to your reply.

No problem. I was having trouble reading my posted photo when I looked using my phone so I reiterated the values. Between us we answered it!

Cheers. Peter.

Yes, put the same tension on all four bedding bolts.

There is no "correct" answer. For best performance you have to test with your ammunition from about 25 inch pounds on up about 45 in a wooden stock. MB
