walther SP22

I have a new shooter that is using a SP22 and I was wondering others thoughts on the gun.
it appears to have alot of upgrades avalable for it.
I have not felt the trigger yet but I assume is in line with other guns in its price range.
He has the 6" model with a basic grip and I'm thinking a match grip would help allong with maybe a trigger job and an ultradot.
is it worth investing in this gun or seek another?

Quite frankly I would look around for something else---I have neither heard nor read any encouraging reports regarding this Walther product. "Doc"
