More positive media coverage on Junior Shooting

Post by Telecomtodd »

Here's a great news story about NC's Megan Lee, a 13-year old with gold in her sights. She's a wonderful young lady, and being coached by another stellar local, Kent Reeve, a US Palma team member and past Palma champion. It's always fun having our bunch of great junior shooters line up at our local range!

Very nice coverage, but EVERY friggin time:
"sights set on..."
"...in [his/her] sights"
"aiming for..."
"shooting for..."

Every anchor and news article feels obliged to use on of the above. These crappy puns have reached lameness level 9000.

Oh how I wish they would use them a bit more here in the UK. I'd even be prepared to try and think up some more puns for them. At least we would be getting a mention.
