New York Shooters, Register for the Empire State Games

NY shooters interested in trying out for the Empire State Games should go to www.empirestategames.org and register for the tryouts. Add all the events for which you are trying.

There will be no Scantron forms this year (finally!) so the online registration is important. Pass the word to your fellow shooters. If someone does not have access to the internet, it is possible for someone else to sign them up. If they REALLY don't have access, the coaches will have paper forms at the tryouts and then the coaches will enter the information.

Scholastic athletes should pay attention to the parental permission slips. They can be printed out and brought to the tryouts.

It looks like you can only shoot Air Pistol by being selected in a rimfire event? Unfortunate for those without an NY pistol permit. Maybe next year.
