Please do me an off topic favor and comment on approx cost of gas in the Canada. Considering a trip to Banff this summer.

Gasoline price in Canada

Currently about $4.50 (CDN) per US gallon here in the Okanagan. Expect to pay a little less in Alberta (no provincial sales tax), but prices are forecast to rise as summer approaches.

Currently about $1.069 a litre here in the lower mainland.

Regarding your trip to banff I don't think you will be dissapointed. The whole Jasper/banff national park area is filled with amazing scenery and wildlife.
