New Year's Dewar Match

Post by danholmes »

First Annual (and possibly the last) New Year's Dewar Match, January 12th, 2008

Miss the outdoor season already? Come on out to Hopkinton in January for a Dewar Match (that's right...it's outdoors). There'll be hot coffee, donuts, warming libations for after the match, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire...well, no chestnuts but there will be a toasty fire. You need to register in advance at http://pronematch.com

See you there....I hope,
Dan

Hi all-

We lucked out for the first New Year's match with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 40s. We ended up shooting two 100 yard stages since the 50 yard target stands were still snowed in! Congratulations to Erik Hoskins who won the match (399-30x), followed by Dan Holmes (398-18x), and Stephen Roby (397-15x). Complete results and a few pics are available at http://pronematch.com

Also, here are the tentative dates for the Thursday Night Prone Matches starting this spring: 4/10/08, 4/24/08, 5/8/08, 5/22/08, 6/5/08, 6/19/08, 7/3/08, 7/10/08, 7/31/08, 8/14/08, 8/28/08

16, well done! I've joked that entire housing developments have gone up in less time than it took Kurt Thune to make my jacket and pants!
