left-handed bolt action .22

Post by BeauWren66 »

I am searching for a left-handed, bolt action .22 rifle for a 4-H rifle club member. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where one might be found? We have found a shooting jacket and mat, but are having trouble locating a rifle. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Try a CZ 452... Great action, very smooth... The Varmint Special works well.

LH Bolt .22

Post by jon_01 »

Being a lefty, I researched this issue intensely when I was looking for a .22 silhouette rifle. I would up taking a left handed Anschutz action/barrel and putting it into a left handed H&S precision silhouette stock. Unfortunately there are not many options out there for us lefties wanting to shoot left hand .22 bolt.

I don't know what your budget is.... but... Anschutz does make some very nice LH .22 bolt rifles. Check out www.championshooters.com/

Cooper arms also makes .22 LH bolt rifles (not cheap) www.cooperfirearms.com

Lastly, I have seen many lefties shoot a right handed bolt .22 with great ease, some even stating that they prefer it. You just swing your left hand over the right side of the rifle and work the bolt that way. But for me, I prefer a LH bolt.

cheers,

Jon
