2008 Dewar Match Preview - http://pronematch.com

Post by danholmes »

Hello Shooters-

Next Thursday (9/6/07) is the 7th match in the Hopkinton Thursday Night Prone Series and we're going to mix it up a bit!

Tentatively, the Hopkinton Prone Matches will have a slightly different format next year. Instead of a 20 shot match consisting of 2 relays, we will be running only one relay, but we'll be shooting a Dewar course (20 shots at 50 yards, and 20 shots at 100 yards).

For the last two matches this season (9/6 and 9/20), we'll be experimenting with this new format. To keep the scoring consistent with the previous matches in the series, only the 50 yard stage will count for record. Bring your scopes, because by the 100 yard stage it will be getting pretty dark. Thanks,

Hello shooters-

Thanks to everyone who came out to the match this week. Congratulations to Erik Hoskins who won the match with a score of 200-18x--this is Erik's third win in a row. Nice shooting Erik! You can view the complete results at http://pronematch.com

The LAST MATCH is next Thursday, September 20th. We'll be starting promptly at 6pm (maybe even a few minutes before) because of September's diminishing light. You can register online at http://pronematch.com

Thanks again,

Next year we will be moving to a Dewar match format and starting a little earlier in the season--probably in April.

I hope to see you next year,
