Referring to the USA Shooting website gives the following answer.

5.3.3 Rifle Air Classification

For competition in 10m standing events (to be used when standing is the only position in the match).
AA.................................95 and above
A...................................90 to 94.99
B...................................85 to 89.99
C...................................80 to 84.99
D...................................75 to 79.99
E...............................74.99 and below

The entire rule book is available online at the USA Shooting website. A real good idea is to print a copy for yourself and keep it with your shooting gear. If you actually read it, you will be far ahead of 70 percent of parents, coaches and shooters out there.

Actually, now the NRA rulebooks are supposed to be online too. Probably the question was a bit too generic to receive much response - are you asking about USAS Air, NRA Intl Air, or 3P Air?
