New NRA Highpower Rifle Record

Post by Asa Yam »

On August 8th, 2007, Mark DelCotto shattered the existing 600 yard prone slowfire record by firing a perfect 200-20x at the US National Matches (NRA highpower rifle phase) at Camp Perry.

The old record (200-19x) was set on August 10th, 1989 (also at Camp Perry). In the intervening years, this record had been tied three times, but was never broken - until Mark did it this year.

Congratulations, Mark!
