Hello Shooters-

This Thursday (8/23/07) is the 6th match in the Hopkinton Thursday night prone series. If you haven't registered, you can register now at http://pronematch.com to secure your spot on the line. Whenever we have the room, shooters can shoot both relays for some extra practice, we count the first score.

Thanks,
Dan Holmes

Dan,
I wish I had a match to go to. I think that it is great you and your club are putting on night matches. Rest assured that if I were close to your facilities I would try and shoot every match, not that I could keep up with the score that I have seen posted (but i would have fun). How many shooters do you have at the night matches? How many junior shooter do you have at the night matches

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Hi Tim-

I really appreciate the kind words. We are averaging 10-15 shooters per match (half juniors, half open/seniors). A lot of people can't make it after work so we lose a few to that. Also, a number of people have expressed interest in the matches, but don't want to make the drive for 20 shots. We do allow people to shoot both relays and we just count the first score.

Next year, I think I am going to change the format to a Dewar course.

I started these matches because I wanted to have some people to shoot with, and there weren't any matches nearby. I was surprised at how many people came out of the woodwork once I started advertising. I've even reconnected with shooters I haven't seen in 17 years!

Hello shooters-

Thanks to everyone who came out to the match this week. Congratulations to Erik Hoskins who won the match--again--with yet another perfect score of 200-20x. Nice shooting Erik! You can view the complete results at http://pronematch.com

If you couldn't make it to the match this week, we hope to see you at one of the upcoming matches--we've added two more in September. The next match is on Thursday, September 6th. We may only run one relay because of September's diminishing light. You can register online at http://pronematch.com

Thanks again,
Dan Holmes
