Can the Steyr LG110 grip be moved toward the trigger?

Post by RFC »

I know it can be twisted and angled, but what about moved forward? There is nothing in the manual about it.

Thanks

Grip adjustment on LG-110

Post by peepsight »

Hi RFC

You should find a small amount of for and aft adjustment on the grip.

I guess you are using the angled washer?

I had to file some wood off the front edge of the grip where it was touching the trigger housing. This allowed a few more mm of forward movement. I needed my grip to be as far forward as possible to obtain a good finger position on the trigger. Don't forget that you can move the trigger on its rail backwards so this will help as well.

Perfect advice. Thanks.

I have also been thinking about filing off some of the ridge between the index and middle finger, but have been hesitating. I need to just suck it up and do it.

LG-110 grip

I filed down the ridge on my grip so it was more comfortable between the index and middle fingers.

I also resprayed the filed down area with an acrylic fast dry 'satin' finnish black. This blends in with the original paint finnish and you would not realise that it has ever been touched. Finnish off with 400 grit before painting.
