I'm thinking of buying a fwb 103 pistol. The specs say it shoots 510fps. That's 10above the legal limit ( without pal/fac). Does anyone know if you can buy one in Canada without a pal/ fac?
They most likely have one set to below 500 for Canada. The specs for most of the top Ap's are above 500 fps but you can purchase almost all without a PAL.
I used to have one. Sure they're sold with the assurance that they're under 500fps. Mine chono'd consistently at 515+. My Pardini at 510+, a friends Hammerli 525+, another friends LP10 560+.
Now my Aerons are definitely under 500 at 430+-.
I'm sure it has to do with the elevation at which they were tested (nod non wink wink).
