Shooting Glasses?

Post by RS »

I was wondering if I need shooting glasses or not. My problem is whenever I look down my sights I get maybe 2 seconds where the target is clear and then it becomes blurry(and it happens during standing and kneeling), so I was wondering if shooting glasses would help or maybe if it something else would help.

Sounds like it's time for a complete eye exam, preferably with a doctor familiar with the needs of shooters.

My Optometrist lets shooters bring their pistols and rifles to the exam so she can fine tune the prescription in their shooting glasses.

Glasses for shooting

Post by Rutty »

As was said to me years ago:

"If you get to 40 and you're not wearing glasses for shooting, then you should be"

I think it's not a bad guide.
