Does the serial number of the FP10 tell you what (good or bad) trigger is in the pistol?

As far as I can tell, absolutely not. Hammerli steadfastly refuses to admit the "good" trigger even exists. Likewise, they refuse to talk about the problems with the "bad" trigger. The only pistols I know which have the "good" trigger have had it installed after their owners got very nasty with Hammerli. Once the "good" trigger is installed the FP-10 is a lovely pistol.
