Lubrication points on a Gamo Compact?

Post by MSC »

Just got a new one and the manual says nothing, other than that it should be serviced periodically by a gunsmith.

So.... outside of the pivot points when the gun is cocked, where else would need to be lubed? I'm thinking mainly for the piston/seal. Perhaps just a light coating of Pelgunoil on the shaft that goes in and out of the compression chamber?

Thanks for any help! :)

To be honest I have had mine for 15 year and never dont anything to it and it's still goine fine. The one proble i did have was the the blade that holds the barel in place bent after about 10 year, so i made a new one.

I would perhaps put a drop on the piston lever joint. Not knowing what the seal is made of I would not put any oil near it.
