10M ISSF Air Pistol Foresights

Post by streamdreams »

In every book I read they advise wide forsights to help with focusing on the foresite, but does this make it more dificult to center the foresight on the target ?

If you shoot 50m Free pistol as well do you use a diferent fore sight width?

frontsight width

6mm
In that way i keep my frontssight in same width as the bulleye on 10m.

Only Morini delivers this width

frontsight

no problems.
I uses also the 6mm for my freepistol
This gives me a wider frontsight than bulleye, but it is easier to keep
this wide frontsight in focus.

It isn't just the actual width of the front sight that changes its apparent width.

Distance from the eye is a major factor.
