at what level of the sport are you at now? which event too?

most general fitness training plans should be good. work to build up your heart and lungs and ensure that your body is generally fit before you start any pistol specific training. a base level is required for more work to be done in order to improve.

Thanks for reply, my event is air pistol women, and practice score is around 375 to 385, competition score is around 370 to 375, and i can practice 4 times (2 hours) per week.

At that sort of score level I would suggest that you should be trying to contact a National/Regional coach to join some form of training and developement squad.

The details would obviously depend where you are. Unless you are UK based I cannot help on that.

from your scores i think i should be the one asking for advice from you lol(im averaging 91 to 93). anyway i think most people would agree that the drop in score is due to insufficient mental training. i used to shoot badly during competition situations but recently for the past few months i have been able to attain practice scores during competitions by preoccuping my mind on the shot delivery itself instead of scores and the competition.

im of no help on mental training though still striving to perfect my shot delivery.
