scatt use at 50 m

Post by guidolastra »

I have been using my scatt mx2 at 50 meters and have noticed movements are bigger compared to 10 meters (L factor for example). Wonder if is only me or if this is expected from the system itself, since I have read movements are expected to be higher when switching from the previous scatt models to the mx2 version. Any one has input about this?

Thanks.

With my MX-02, I have a larger L measurement at 50m outdoors than at 25 yards indoor, especially with strong sunlight and hot days. I suspect it is the heat distorting the target image that is causing the problem.

I agree with that, I have shot on very sunny and humid days and I have noticed that issue. I was not sure if others had to same issue or if it was me. even occasionally, for whatever reason, the red line recoil is not showing entirely. doesn't happen when shooting @ 10m, although of course of the shape of the curves are very different
Thank you very much
