WTF pellet test

Post by Rover »

Beloved Rover

I thought the SAM M10 sounded a bit puny, but thought I'd do an accuracy check.  I don't care what it's doing as long as it's accurate,
and it had provided my best score in a long time.

I tried two Finale Match lots and (surprise!) RWS Basic.

The heavy Finale Match lots performed nicely.  The Basics not so good, so I decided to crank up the power one turn.

Now the Basics were the best; half the size of the original group and noticeably better than the Finales.

More money for beer!  But YMMV.

I like using the most expensive pellets I can for a match,.

Because it makes me THINK I can shoot better.

Beloved Rover

I like using the cheapest ones because it makes you feel worse when I beat you.

GAWD! He's talking to himself again. What do we think it is: dementia, DT's? Did he wander out into the desert an stumble upon some of those magic mushrooms?

You have it all wrong (again), Willie.

That was a transcription of an actual email exchange with a local guy.

Here in AZ we're into the peyote cactus buttons (a hippie and Indian fave).

I'm sure you were into its commercial form...mescaline, back when you were protesting the Nam.

If you're in the neighborhood, drop by:

Thanks but no thanks. I get uncomfortable if I'm more than 50 miles from seawater.
