I have an Anschutz 1403 that I want to shoot in our club's Dewar match. I went to sight it in at 200 yards and ran out of clicks while being 16" low. I did the math and figured out I need to raise the rear sight another 1/16", or there abouts. Anyone know of some relatively inexpensive sight risers I can buy that would give me the needed height on my rear sight?

A couple of things:

The Dewar course is fired 20 record shots at 50 yards, and 20 record shots at 100 yards - I'm not sure why you would sight it in at 200 yards?

Most (but not all) risers are sold in sets - 4mm, and 8mm being fairly common. Try looking at Champion's Choice in Tennessee, or Champion Shooters in Ohio. I *think* Pilk Guns (our host here) only deals with Steyr rifles, and I don't think they fit the Anschutz rail.

German makes a fairly nice set, as does Centra.

Using a 8mm sight riser on the rear sight is all you should need for elevation when shooting 200yards. Ive used a 8mm riser with the Anschutz 7020 sights and had plenty of elevation. You can get a set from champions choice in Tennessee or 10.9 shooting products in Minnesota.
