I am listing my Glock 42 for sale (802) 266-0028. It is decked out with an IWB tuckable kydex holster 3 mags ( 1 has +2 Taran Tacticle) stock sights, and comes in the original box. I will also throw in about 30 rounds of JHPs and 10 rounds of target

I thought this was a target forum. If everybody that tries to save the 10% gunbroker fee to sell ther 20" MOA pistol here we won't have room for adds for target guns. Scott is not paying for this web site for people too cheap to put an add on gunbroker or armslist. Let's keep it to guns with real target capability. Also you people advertising injected grips and other home enterprises without paying Scott a commission are doing the forum and Scott a disservice.

Just saying

I see they're in Vermont (802). If they throw in ten rounds of single malt (Talisker would be good), I may just drive across the river to look at the wares. I'd never consider buying a Glock, but ten rounds....

I was unaware that there was such a thing as .380 target ammunition. Is there a new international class that the're starting? Or does target ammunition just allow a Glock to hold sub 20" MOA's at 7 feet.

They joined Aug 13 and posted the for sale... my guess is that they are trying to "catch" someone and/or build a story for the newspaper.

I'm not saying that you're right or wrong, but do you have any idea how many join the forum and immediately post in the "Buy, Sell, Trade"?

I agree, lots. Just not a Glock 42...

It's many years since I gave up trying to work out what Americans class as a target pistol ;-)

I think that most Americans would consider this thing a plinker. Which leads one to ask: Is the person who pretends it's a target pistol a plonker?

David, have you seen any episodes of the Prime Suspect prequel? The male coppers refer - not entirely fondly - to the judy scuffers as "plonks."

Grouper season just opened in the Gulf of Mexico. I'm thinking that with that HIGH QUALITY PLASTIC, I might be able to use it as a non corrosive fishing weight on some 40lb test mono to TARGET some deep water Grouper.

While I don't disagree entirely with the premise that this is not a target firearm and it doesn't really "fit" here...

Who the hell are all of you to talk about not paying for Gunbroker listings? WE list things here for free also.

If we mean to grow our conventional target sports, and not be viewed with such disdain by everybody else for being aloof and unapproachable, maybe we need to find more constructive ways to vent than what has gone on here.

Cheers,

-Nate

Is there a firearm of any kind that someone somewhere has not devised a way to compete with? Right now the NRA is pumping hard for the action pistol matches where people run between different stations and shoot. A few years ago a friend at Bisley told me that in the UK there was a match where shooters jumped out of moving cars to shoot.

The NRA is pushing "Action" shooting because they see us as a bunch of boring old farts who are dying off faster than we're being replaced and who don't spend enough money to please the corporate donors. That attitude is why I made the conscious decision not to participate in any NRA competitions. The mere thought of them glomming onto any of my registration fees turns my stomach.

So anyway, back to the Glock 42 . . . What's the price on this fine used "target" gem. Is it $800+, like all the other used Glocks on Armslist?

Having LOTS of time on my hands for a couple weeks recovering from knee surgery, I Googled the Phone number in the original post.

Several hits for other places where it's for sale.

Many more hits where the phone number is associated with, hmmh, what could be described as online pharmaceutical sales. I'll let you speculate on any connection between the item for sale and the business activities.

Anyone need more popcorn?

Glenn

Any chance 2020 Tokyo Olympics adding: (1) Gangsta'-Hold Bullseye event, or (2) Summer-Biathlon Shooting/Drive-by event?
