The famous "Sling Blade" Barry Markowitz we hope someday becomes a shooter and TT member. While in the media business, the other "TT " Barry Markowitz, is a Hawaii news photographer, videographer, field producer that also does some national TV news and entertainment production (CNN, Extra, Travel Channel, Fox Sports, ESPN, CBS, etc). The only contact between the two was that the Hawaii Barry was asked by the State of Hawaii to pay the famous Barry's Kauai traffic tickets for not buckling up his seat belt....the unknown Hawaii Barry had never been in Kauai in 1994 so all was forgiven.

It sounds like you are Barry Markowitz. Are you still in Hawaii? Is your shooting club still around?

Aloha Air Pistol Association

Post by Barry Markowitz »

Harry Piltz, President of the Aloha Air Pistol Association, indicated all is well...at this time he is waiting to expand activities until the completion of the new Kahuku High School airgun shooting range. All the materials are on campus in containers, but await scheduling by the construction company assigned the task by the State of Hawaii. It is expected that the Aloha Air Pistol Association will become the basis of a booster club for the Kahuku High School shooting team and Kahuku's recently formed shooting club, helping to fundraise, secure equipment, and sponsor the team's yearly banquet. All assistance will be done under the direct guidance and request of Kahuku's shooting coach/security officer. Mahalo for your interest, Barry Markowitz
