Dude, for that kind of price, you can get top of the line Anschutz 9003 (or FWB P700), SCATT (or Rika), a ton of accessories, and a present to butter-up your wife.

Remember when new electronic gadget gets on the market it's always high in price. More they sell the more price will come down.
