Walther LP300 qestion

Post by Leadbelly »

I have great doubts That the regulator is working correctly this WALTHER LP300.
This has the old style light weight cylinder with out a gauge on the cylinder.
I don't seem to get a lot of shots per charge of cylinder, seems 100 at most.
When practicing the other day, after about 60 or 70 shots, my group was dropping lower and
I noticed the holes were not clean cut but tearing holes. I unscrewed the cylinder and connected
the external gauge and it was in the red. I fired another 10 shots in the dirt and it worked fine.
I was too tired to recharge it to check my sight setting so I left.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CHECK THE REGULATOR? AND does anyone know where I can
buy a new Walther LP300 cylinder with the gauge on it ?
