New Guy Checking in

Post by Jon Math »

Hello,

I’ve been lurking around for a while and finally set up an account the other day. I was a competitive SB rifle and air rifle shooter in the late 80’s and have recently decided to try my hand at AP and NRA gallery league .22 pistol shooting. I find the rifle shooting to be a bit of a young person’s game, and the pistol is a bit less equipment intensive; so that’s the way I’m leaning…at least for now.
Seems like a lot of very knowledgeable shooters are members here, I hope to gain from your experience.

Thankful to be here.

It sounds like you've already learned that pistol shooting is not as big a pain in the ass as rifle shooting.

Both your choices are excellent for those starting in the sport.

BTW Put your general location in your header.

Yes, just not having to get dressed up in more leather than a bike rider is a big advantage.
