Hi I was wondering if anybody had a favorite hand pump for charging up compressed air cylinders and why? As far as I can see there is only a couple of choices out there and I was wondering if there was one that was better than the rest.
P.S. It's for filling steyr lp10 cylinders , whether that makes a difference.
Thanks

Hand Pump For Air Gun

Post by Ian »

Hi,

Any of the current crops of air pumps are good. The Hill is a very good one as well as the one sold by Scott and Warren (Pilkington).

By the way since I have gone to using a compressor to fill my cylinders, I would be willing to sell my Hill pump at a very reasonablbe price.

If interested, please feel free to contact me.

As always, keep'em all in the 10 ring,
Ian

I've only owned one hand pump - it's a Hill I purchased from Pilkington.

It's easy to use, sturdy and very well built.

i own two, one stamped "Morini" and one "Gehman". Both deliver 200 bars without problems.
