Grips don't fit!

Post by rick983 »

I just bought a mint Hammerli model 101 and the grips don't fit my hand. I have a large hand and the palm support doesn't go down far enough with the result that my hand is squeezed into the grip at an uncomfortable angle. Does anyone make replacement grips for the 101? Thanks.

I'm sure there are plenty of grip makers about who will make larger grips for your gun (I don't know any as I'm not in the US). Can't you just get a larger grip from where you bought the gun ?

Hammerli Grip

Post by Barry Markowitz »

If the grip is reasonably close to your hand size, Seaton Thomas can clear out that area for you and a whole lot more, without buying a new grip. If you do have to get a new grip I would still recommend Seaton's tweaking. Every penny spent for his refinement skills is great value if you hope to improve or compete. Seaton Thomas can be reached at (928) 763-5504. Some of those Hammerli's are so well crafted they are like artwork. Enjoy it Sir.
