Stan,

I recently went from two weights to four on my SP since I like my guns a bit more muzzle heavy esp for sustained fire. I'm not sure my scores improved but there was a noticeable improvement\reduction in muzzle flip.

Another observation I made is that recoil seemed a bit softer - less snappy I guess is another way of saying it. I suspect this is because all four weights are spring loaded.

My own preferences aside, some shooters dislike softening up recoil arguing that it delays recovery by prolonging the process.

No harm in trying I suppose.
