Morini CM84e Compensator Cleaning

Post by PaulT »

I use the optional compensator that reduces muzzle movement and excellent for shot calling. I was alerted to the fact that I need to keep the compensator clean! Using a solvent and brush is insufficient to adequately remove the lead residue. I can supply details of the gunsmith in Switzerland that makes the reamer if you PM me. This completes the task quickly and efficiently.

The gunsmith also has an excellent method of indexing the position of the foresight orientation or compensator housing but this would require your pistol to complete the works. The factory setting is not necessarily precisely aligned correctly.
