Training Targets?

Post by wasatch »

Curious, what drills are used with the pictured training targets? Are the horizontal and vertical bars to train hold in vertical & horizontal axis in isolation?

A dollar in someone's pocket, but not yours.

I've known about these for years, but never found a use for them.

They are used to isolate different areas of your shooting technique. The horizontal bar can be useful if you cant your sights. The vertical bar can be helpful to train a controlled lowering of your arm. Most of these targets help me train my hold and release. The black one is like a full white target fo work on your sighting. You can make them and print them yourself in regular paper and use it for training (you don't really care about perfectly neat impacts).
