Walther LP300 & LP400 ????

Post by Leadbelly »

Is the cylinder for the Walther LP400 , will it fit a Walter LP300? I am shooting my buddy's
old Walther LP300 with a really old cylinder ( it does not have the gauge on the end of the cylinder ).

secord Question: These are pistols are supposed to be REGULATED, is the regulator in the cylinder
or in the pistol frame ? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

LP300 and LP400 cylinders are not interchangeable. Both have regulators and you can see in their explosive diagrams that the regs are not contained in the cylinders but are bolted to the body.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will pass on buying it. It shot very well but I would have to get another cylinder and large grips. With all that extra expense, I'll just buy a New Morini or FWB.
Thanks again.

it all depends on what the owner wants for the LP300 and how much a new air pistol costs.
A grip and a new cylinder is not that much cost.

You're SHOOTING the gun. You don't need a new cylinder. A rasp and putty for your grips are far cheaper, and probably better, than new $200 grips.
