At the risk of stealing FAS Domino's thunder, I've taken the liberty of re-posting pictures of the new 6007 from their FB site. I'm sure they won't mind.

If its reliability is as good as its looks, this is a winner! I think it looks great.

I think it looks cheap, just look at the rear sight. And they couldn't have mounted the grip further away from the barrel axis if they tried.

Pah ! the Swiss don't know anything about making precision shooting instruments :)

I am confused by the amount of metal above the barrel and slide.

There might be a logical reason for it, but I cannot think what it would be.

I don't understand why they build up excitement for a premier and then don't publish any material right away. Kind of a drag they haven't published any data and proper pictures.

It appears like the front sight block slides fore/aft in the dovetail, and it can be flipped 180.

Got to keep the sight radius within the allowed limit for ISSF, but maybe changeable to maximize for NRA?

So does anyone knows where in the US you can get this pistol?
And how much are they?
Anyone using one of them?

Agree. Did they steal the bolts out of the factory gutter for the elevation screw?

So much negativity...

Looks like an old Unique.

Now, now, don't go maligning Uniques, eh? Besides it looks like the last one they put out. I think I'll just past mine and my FAS/Dimino 602 on to my grandkids. Nothin' finer to shoot with!

Looks like an old 607 to me with an altered trigger guard. Nice gun but like cars the older ones look better than they drive.

WHAT AM I MISSING? Somebody dug up a year-old thread to comment on what? According to the Chiappa website, there is no 6007. Type 6007 into their search panel, and it suggests you check your spelling. The only pistols worth noting there (and barely so) are the FAS 6004 - you know, the one with the exquisite(?!?) quality control - and the Mateba-designed Rhino revolvers.

Where I grew up just outside Boston the company name would have been pronounced "Cheapah" with apparently good reason.
