What velocity should this rifle shot at. I have read 575-600 FPS. With what weight pellet would that be? I am trying to determine If there is something wrong with it. It seams to be under powered.

Thanks

You are correct about the velocity, with a Match Rifle pellet. What kind of pellet are you using? and what kind of velocity are you gettting

Hi Thanks for the reply. At the moment I dont have any match grade pellets they haven't arrived yet. I have tryed Beeman Laser 6.5grn at 540 Fps,

Crossman Premeirs lights 7.9 grn at 475 FPS.

What do the match grade pellets weigh?

Thanks

Match pellets are 8.2, I would'nt worry too muchabout the velocity, it sounds Okay, given what you are shooting, as you Probably CPs are notorius for leading the bore. Be sure and thoroughly clean the barrel after any CP usage. Its really not necessary if your using match pellets

a little slow...

Hi Frank
Sounds like your LG100 is shooting a little slow...
It is quite easy to turn in the striker slightly.
It should be shooting 8gr pellets at about 550 to 575fps.

You need to take off the stock and then the grip.
Then unscrew the retaining screw underneath the grey plastic cover and remove the cover.
It takes a little fiddling....
On the left hand side next to the striker is a small allen screw that blocks the striker.
Loosen it.
Then turn in the striker a 1\4 turn at a time and check velocity.
